Video: Big K.R.I.T. - Country Shit (Remix) feat Ludacris & Bun-B…
Looks like Krizzle is about to win. That’s a good thing. When I saw him live in Houston a few months ago I was a little stunned at the crowd’s reaction - I didn’t think he’d made that much ground in his career, but I was glad to be wrong.
It’s vaguely interesting that KRIT and Def Jam are pushing a remix to a track off the first mixtape that got dude’s name out. I thought the song would make a decent single back when I heard it, but I assumed that ship had sailed once he started releasing new work. But he resurrected that shit on his next mixtape with some added firepower. Ain’t a thang wrong with that. Good shit is good shit and it’ll hold up over time - especially when most people didn’t hear it the first time around.
But what’s even more interesting is Ludacris’ focus on on that chicken during the video. That shit went beyond a mere performance into some “I’m hungry as shit and I’m happy that someone brought chicken to this shoot - It’s fucking delicious” stuff. ROFL. He wasn’t even acknowledging the camera by the end. Just look at the fucking screenshot - the nigga looks like he lost a bet. That must have been some good chicken. Lucky for him that he wifed up a doctor that can prevent him from keeling over on stage someday. Pay attention to Michelle Obama’s food plate y’all…
